Elevated Water Storage Tanks

Also known as a water tower, these elevated structures are used to store water for fire protection and potable drinking water within a designated service area. Elevated tanks allow the natural force of gravity to produce consistent water pressure throughout the system.

Our team has installed electrical service and controls to these structures since 2006. With over 100 projects completed, we are considered one of the industry leaders in this field.

Wastewater Lift Stations

A wastewater lift station is a pumping station that moves wastewater from a lower elevation to a higher elevation. These stations are necessary where the elevation is not sufficient for gravity to help the wastewater flow.

With lift stations being our main staple since 1984, we pride ourselves on repeat business from some of the most experienced and elite contractors in Central Texas.

Pump Stations

Similar operating aspects to a lift station a pump station is usually necessary for the pumping of run off or non-potable water. These stations are often found near retention ponds that are used for water mitigation in subdivisions and larger commercial and industrial parks.

Over the years Sun*Tech has installed several pump stations working closely with owners and developers.

Fiber-optic Communication

Fiber-optic communication is a method of transmitting information from one place to another by sending pulses of infrared light through an optical fiber. The light is a form of carrier wave that is modulated to carry information.

Our fiber optics division was created in 2021 to assist energy companies and municipalities expand their fiber infrastructure and supply broadband to rural areas. From termination and testing to troubleshooting we go anywhere 24/7 to meet your needs.

Safety

Construction safety involves any safety procedure that is related to the construction industry or construction sites. Construction safety aims to ensure that a construction site or the industry as a whole is not the cause of immediate danger to the public around a construction site, or the workers at a construction site, as well as making sure that the finished product of construction meets required safety standards

Safety at Sun-Tech Electric is paramount. We live with an HSE (Health Safety Environment) mindset and our commitment to safety speaks for itself. From 2016 when Sun-Tech was recognized by OSHA there have been over 145,000 hours worked without a lost time incident.
